    Hey sgy, I think you should apologise to yourself for emptying your internet nuts on me. I would suggest you apologise to me too, but I doubt I will read any of your posts again anyway. Here is why I say that:

    You were a bit rude to say I was missing whole point of the charges against City.*

    As a footnote to what I thought was an adequately framed post, which I posted in anticipation of some thought provoking comments about the purpose and eternal dilemmas of FPP (and there were some), I noted that I hoped City won their case. You picked up on that and gave it a full Twittering. Your misunderstood it, you apportioned a quote to it I had never said, you translated ‘I hope City wins’ into me saying I hoped city 'get off' (you even added quotation marks)** and you told me I hoped City get away with cheating***’.

    * The point of my post, clearly, was to chat about FPP in general, not the charges, so if anyone was missing any point then you would definitely be on the podium wearing a garland. Also, I know you don’t genuinely believe I am oblivious to the charges and what they mean, so what did you get from saying that.

    ** You wrote that I hoped City ‘get off’ the charges. You even quoted me as saying it. Why did you make that up. It is not what I wrote. I don’t hope City ‘get off’ anything! In the real post I said ‘I hope City wins’. If they win then that means they are found not to be guilty. If they are found to be guilty then they won’t win, and they will be punished (probably not) accordingly.

    *** I am unsure if you have already tried City in your head and found them guilty. Who knows.

    When I add those things to your comment about my comparison with City being ‘ridiculous’ despite me giving similarities to help people contextualise, my first thought was that you might be having difficulties elsewhere and use this place to vent, and that I should shut up because in some strange way I had helped you. I then briefly toyed with the idea that you are a 15 year old from UT3 whose parents didn’t bother with a child lock on the PC, before concluding it is more likely you are a retired departmental manager – possibly a bit of a bully – who is finding it difficult to come to terms with the loss of authority. I made that up. I didn't think you would mind.

    Finally I stopped thinking altogether and decided I would not post this**** and that I would avoid your posts in future as you just make things up anyway, but not in a humourous way, and I had mistakenly thought that was what Twitter (He/They/Dickwad) is for, not here.
