You are missing the whole point of the charges against city. You are right that the whole general ownership criteria needs amending and certainly United's owners should have no place in football. Also FFP needs to be made to be completely fair. But that is not what this is about and to compare city to county is ridiculous. If the charges against city are proven they have basically cheated over a 10 year period gaining unfair advantage over other clubs who have abided by the rules. It doesn't matter whether an individual club likes the competition rules or not; it doesn't give them a choice to ignore them. No doubt some other Premier lge clubs would have liked to ignore those rules if they could but they adhered to the competition integrity. County have spent the owners money and helped the community but have not been accused of providing false information to the league - there is no similarity.
