I agree Bilby, but Wrexham are not going to part for any money. Some good strikers made moves in the summer. Colby Bishop, George Miller, James Norwood and Macauley Langstaff to name just a few. Then there were the two obvious ones from Chesterfield and Morecambe that didn’t move. Another one I thought could be a useful substitute is the attacking forward who now is known as the Fylde goal machine Nicky Haughton, who played under DCh and scores 25+ a season and has double figures this term, with another hat-trick at the weekend.
However I feel that had John Rooney stayed, he could change a game in an instance, which might have made a difference and letting Quigley and Whitfield go without suitable replacements compounded the issue.
