Musical Beer Socks, a mind numbing thought!!
I know what you mean about France, We live in rural Brittany and I sometimes think I'm in a third world country, then again the health service is superb. It would not be unusual to go to the Doctor in the morning, be refered to a specialist in the afternoon and under the knife the next day. Which smacks of under utilisation, which I think there is. I don't think the present system is sustainable and the French are in for a rude awakening.
We came out here so I could have my own carp lake but the French caught on and the prices went sky high, so we settled for a nice house near a lake, where I have a boat moored. I tend to fish smaller carp lakes in the local area.
We will probably move to New Zealand in a couple of years (If they let us in!!)
Keep up the good work, the site has never been so active.
Kindest Regards
Pam and Dave
