Larry, can you confirm this story?...

Larry, I have a question concerning something I read in the Streissguth book. Like many other fans, I purchased this book when it came out, because at the time, it was the only book ever published on Jim's life. But also, like many other fans, I was very dissapointed with what I read. It was filled with misinformation, complete lies and in some cases, glaring omissions, like no mention whatsoever of the Carnegie Hall concert. Anyway, my question concerns something that Streissguth claims Bill Pursell had said reguarding Jim's last session at RCA on July 2, 1964. He says that after the session, Bill had a strange feeling there was a black cloud hanging over the studio when he was leaving, as if to say that it was some kind of premonition of doom, and that Bill got in his car and tore away as fast as he could from the studio. I don't recall any mention of this in your book, but I'm wondering if you ever interviewed Bill, and if he ever mentioned anything about this.
