Posted by loser! on September 17, 2004, 2:51 am Punk Roge has invited me to come on his radio show on KDVS (90.3 FM) this Saturday night from midnight till 3AM (so it's actually early Sunday morning...sue me) to do a big set of old rare recordings of Sacramento punk bands from the 1980s. I'll be playing tracks by Tales Of Terror, Rebel Truth, The Vacant, Industrial Hate, Square Cools, Skate Nix, Groovie Ghoulies, Missing Link, Identity Crysis, Linus Crow, Cactus Liquors, Sins Of The Flesh, Neonate, Sewer Trout, Gravel Gut, Vile, Necromancy, Pollution Circus, New Vulgarians, The Driven, I.G.D., Well Hung Monks, Genital Chowder and many more. Plus i'll be including a few Stockton bands in the mix too. 98% of these tracks are from rare demos, rehearsals, out-of-print vinyl or live recordings. Most of this stuff hasn't been heard in nearly 20 years. Hear what punk rock was like in Sacramento in the eighties. I hope everyone listens! Hopefully, Roge will have me back sometime to do a set of rare Sacramento punk from the 1990s till the present. Believe I have tons of stuff I could play.
