Diving there is restricted to one end of the lake, the shallow end. Rescue dive teams do training at the other end and much deeper part of the lake. There is one platform at 20', it's 210 on the compass from the water entry spot. You have to lug your gear down a slippery hill full of geese droppings from the parking lot. There is not much to see and you have to use a dive flag and line approved by the park staff. It's worth driving the extra distance and go to Dutch. I did a fair amount of lake diving in the early 1970's (Greenwood Lake, Green Pond,etc.) and made some extra money retreiving anchors and small boat motors. Overall, lake diving in this area is pretty dull.
