The first site was one of the bigger wrecks that get pounded on a regular basis. The San Saba had about 20 ft of vis and a bottom temp of 54 f. We did not see a lot of sea life but several nice fluke came up as well as a few lobster ( up to 4.5lbs= just below the legal limit by about 1/16 inch)It was a nice dive with good conditions so we decided to stay in the area.
Wreck number 2 was one of the bigger wooden wrecks in the area. Bottom conditions were about the same. Several nice lobster came up as well as some ling and fluke.
Site number 3 only one diver went down and as its very small they were up in about 5 minutes with a nice bug.
Last stop we hit a low wood wreck inshore and found the swell had stirred up the bottom on this one but a few nice fish still came up.
Still not great hunting but we came back with an overflowing cooler and at least one diver got a lobster limit with two in the 5 lb range.
Everyone went home with lots of fresh fish and lobsters. Hopefully things will get better from here and the hunting seems to be picking up.
