The Lair was closed for two years, but in roleplay, we never stopped living there, until we moved. In my roleplay, Second Life is a kind of recurring dream that Kimba has when she's asleep. She is always the same person and sometimes it's Gor, sometimes it's Paris, sometimes she's a hooker, Panther, kajira, Trekkie, whatever; and sometimes people from her life, like Tasp or Rissa are in those dreams. The SL dreams are less frequent now, but I still have them. That's how I work everything into my one fantasy life.
If trina's typist has not roleplayed in a month, trina{Km} was still in the Lair the whole time, and she witnessed and participated in most of what happened.
Tasp and Medi have not roleplayed together much, but their characters have known each other for a year, because that's what I backstoried in when I figured out how to bring her over from the Forest Event. In the roleplay, the Forest Event was me taking a contingent of PClaw Panthers on a trade mission, last summer, while Tasp stayed in the Lair. I went in disguise as a blonde because the price on the infamous Kimba's head would have messed up the trade mission. On that extended mission, the Medi the Guard earned promotions to Runner and Huntress.
Tasp's typist was not with us on the trip from Tuchuk to the New Lair, but Taspan was there the whole time.
If Tana shows up again, she will have been staying with us for a week already. Next time Rissa comes in, she will probably be returning from an extended scouting mission. Keenan will backstory whatever mission he has been on the last week.
This is complicated stuff, but we can do it, because we are the best roleplayers on Gor.
