I did not go anywhere near BENDIS' book. I can't stand his writing style of established heroes. I like his own creations, especially the crime books.
Anyway, THese days, everything is about SPIDEY,X-MEN and AVENGERS...The street level characters have to scramble for a shot at some exposure.
DAREDEVIL and PUNISHER are doing all right...But MOON KNIGHT and HEROES FOR HIRE never make it to "super stardom". Exploring MOON KNIGHT's fractured psyche is fascinating, but putting him in "bigger" stories, showcasing his bad-assery would work as well. MOON KNIGHT would have been a good fit in the OMEGA EFFECT crossover involving DARDEVIL, PUNISHER and SPIDER-MAN, hunting down mega crime...That's just my opinion. He needs exposure. Books like DEFENDERS, HEROES FOR HIRE, SECRET AVENGERS and some of his fellow powerless vigilantes could help with that. And for readers not familiar with him, by teaming him up with other heroes, the reader unfamiliar with him will think:"ok, so THAT's his deal...He's NOT some BATMAN wanna be, it's way more complicated than that."
