After reading it, I was relieved to see that the scene with Marlene and Frenchie was just a vision from his being beaten into a coma. I don't think Bendis will rewrite Moon Knight's entire history as a crazed hallucination. I think he's got some crazy stuff planned, but I doubt it involves disregarding the Moench run on the series, which is arguably the best one.
As for the rest of the issue, it wasn't bad. I like the use of Madam Masque (I'm an Iron Man fan too) and they seem to be building to a pretty epic finale. I was also glad to see that up against a villain like Count Nefaria, Moon Knight held his own. All I know is: there's only a few issues left, so I plan to stick it out and read this thing to the finish.
