Moon Knight #10
The opening page would have been nice if it wasnt identical to the cliffhanger page.
The berserker vignette panels were TOO vague. Yeah, they explain what happened later and having readers use their imagination for violent scenes is usually an effective way - but this still felt TOO much onus on the readers.
The 3pages of hallucination seemed just that. More of the same swiss cheese mindscape of Marc. REALLY hope everything hasnt been a Pam Ewingesque dream all along as this thread speculates. THAT WOULD BE TERRIBLE.
Det.Hall had a good scene even if his force are bumblebutts to not notify the Avengers or have better security to stop a lone bodynapper.
"IMAGINE HOW SHE FEELS" seemed like the most tasteless wisecrack in some time. Bad karma for Buck there.
We see what happened to the Count and a surprising/cool intro of Masque into the storyline. [Need to be reminded how things ended with The Hood and where she went.]
More psycho Marc hallucinating and cashing in on Wolverine images. Crazy redundant.
Wow. Looks like Echo is really dead. Good to get meaningful change - not so much in a series slated for cancellation. Not sure why Masque went to the morgue - it seems just for clues in which case her methods seemed TOO extreme. Bad Ass even. If it turns out she takes the body then am skeptical this is Echo's meaningful final fate.
Snapdragon is becoming a dark horse good character. Liked her interrogation scene.
See Buck, there's that bad karma. If Editorial did not give the okay to kill an Avenger then this minor player is doomed - especially if Masque was the sniper. He is a bumblebutt too for the poor security of holding onto Ultron. The drama of this last scene fizzles with the underwhelming/uninspiring last panel of Marc picking off lint from his tshirt.
