Sharpenhoe Clappers mtg. on 4 July - mystery solved !

Those of you who came along to the mtg at Sharpenhoe Clappers on 4 July may remember a puzzling small plant in seed on several anthills. Well, we now have an ID for it, courtesy of Terry Wells - it was field mousear, Cerastium arvense. Terry is the author of the recently published Flora of Huntingdonshire, and for many years monitored the NNR at Knocking Hoe a few miles from Sharpenhoe.
