We live in Israel. My grandchildren are 2.6 years old. The parents speak English at home and send the kids to Hebrew speaking childcare. Parents have said the English is not as advanced as the Hebrew. They want the English to be stronger.
As an SLP I know it takes longer for language to "come in" when there is a second language. It takes longer.
I don't want to say the wrong thing. What advice should I give to strengthen English in the home setting?
