This place was an addiction for me, back when I first discovered lantern collecting.
I've since come to terms with the fact that I have a hoarding disorder.
Over the years, I've drifted away from lantern collecting, and acquired other "collections" instead.
Recently, I got a good deal on a Dietz 327 barricade with a 650 Visi Flash.
That kind of rekindled my interest in barricade lights, and I went on an eBay buying spree:
Dietz, Collt, Empco, Sundowner, etc.
One thing that I'm curious about is the tamper proof bolt holding the Visi Flash onto the barricade.
It looks like it would require an Allen wrench, but with a hollow end on it; since there's a little post in the center of the recessed area on the bolt.
Does anyone know what type and size tool I would need for it?
I attempted to attach a picture, but I don't have the right kind of image hosting or something.
Also, does anyone know of a good site or resource for discussion about these lights?
I know there used to be one, back in the day.
It may have even been called Visi Flash dot something.
But it's gone now. The only thing that comes up is Visi Flash Rentals; a company that rents barricades and equipment.
Hopefully, someone else still checks in here from time to time, and might be able to help.
I miss the good old days on this forum!
