This shows street work circa 1953 on Wabasha St. at about 12th St. on the north edge of downtown St. Paul. Twin City Rapid Transit used pre-fabricated track and switches to construct a temporary shoo-fly around the work. They used hot blast lanterns to warn the Motorman to slow down.
