Welllll I was on ebay and found a lantern that matched one on the web site that Willis gave me, and I had to have it. So now that I have it a new question comes up. This lantern has a heavy tan wax coating ALL over it inside and out. So what to clean it with Hmmm. I used WD 40 to soften the coating around the glass so I could remove them. Well seems that the RED glass Wasn't red glass BUT clear glass with a red coating on it, so now I have clear glass for the lantern.
Bottom line here is does anyone know how to safely remove this coating and what the heck is it? Harry W
