The lantern you describe fits in the 1915-1920 time frame unless it has socket-flange bail holders, in which case it's 1920-1929. The 1920 is an approximate circa date, plus or minus a year. I believe the socket-flange addition was the Embury response to the Defiance Always-Standing bail which came out circa 1919. Embury acquired the Defiance tooling in 1929 and used the A-S bail on all their cold blast lanterns in 1930. The loop connection was improved in 1934 and received a patent in 1936.
