Thank you Willis. Thanks to you and others on here I have learned much and am comfortable with the term "streamlined". I have seen it written often pertaining to these lanterns, but never really explained and was never 100% sure or what it entailed.

I am working on an outside lift Blizzard (slow but sure) and not sure if it should be painted or maybe I should use linseed oil? Patent dates are all but obliterated, but lantern is fairly solid.
