Picked this old gentleman from a consignment shop recently for $8. Had soooo much loose rust that I could not even read the fount. Bought it for the glass as I really like this globe style and it appeared to be unmarked making it usable in many lanterns. After an initial "cleaning" I discovered it's true identity. I am very pleased to have another 19'th century lantern in my collection and come spring it will get some more TLC. When washing the globe I found the No.0 Tubular markings so it will stay with the lantern. Given its condition I was amazed that it was not rusted up tight. Put some oil in it and lit it up. No leaks but I need to find a fuel cap. I think this model was last made in 1897. Happy Happy.
