I've cleaned the seam around the hood 
and gave it a good heavy dose of WD-40. It looked 
like some of the WD-40 was actually penetrating, 
I hope so as I will do this several times. The  
holes in the hood are wider at the top then they 
are at the bottom with rounded corners. After  
several applications of the penetrant, I'm going 
to find a smooth round bar that fits those corners 
perfectly, slide it thru the burner and with  
constant pressure and tapping the bar with a  
hammer, I hope I see it move! If it does, I'll 
turn it back to where it was and use more WD-40. 
With TLC, I hope to get that hood off without any 
damage. I'm not able to upload pictures to this
