Phil & Dave, I forgot to mention about the lanterns with the baffle were the wick goes into. The No.25 No.255 No.500 Embury also the Handlan 2500 had the baffle along with the Dietz Acme Inspector lantern and I'm sure others had this installed so when the lantern was being moved around the kerosene would not flood out the wick. The Dietz Hy-Lo with the square fount and also the Dietz 8-day lanterns had the baffle. Kind of interesting, wouldn't say. Check out your lanterns everyone.
