Thanks for all the great information. You and Willis have nailed down the date of manufacture very precisely. I found no other marks on the globe, and it does have the plain top. Willis's lantern has the plain fount. I can't tell from the picture but would it have the embossed lid? If so, this would place it earlier on the matrix, yes? Would love to see the Junior matrix as I find Robert's Monarch one very helpful when the is a change in the Monarchy around here.
