Hibbard, Spencer, Bartlett & Co. was a large hardware distributor who had lanterns made for them by lantern manufacturers such as Embury and others, who custom marked them for HSB & Co. The O.V.B. stands for Our Very Best and No.2 relates to the burner size. Again without photos I couldn't tell you who made yours or when.
