Nice lantern for camping,I have two of them. The globe you have is nice because you wont get blinded buy the light while carring it. It throws a nice ring of light on the ground where you need it while walking. Does yours have a 3/8 or a 5/8 wick? I have one of each, the 3/8 does not throw as much light as the 5/8 but it burns a lot longer between fill ups. Harry.W
