I just wanted to say Merry Christmas To Everybody and to mention that I had a great time meeting personally with John M and getting to see his massive collection. That guy has got one more huge collection of lanterns. Also to say thanks for sharing his massive research project of Lantern Patents. What a passion it takes to spend the hours to research all this and then give it away to a newbie. Thanks again John and to all of you that share this stuff.
In my learning to be a collector, and my past job experience in manufacturing, I got to wondering if anybody had any pictures of the manufacturing process that they could post. I think it would be interesting to see the inside of the plants and the machinery that they used to build these wonderful works of art.
