Possably not, fill caps were easily interchanged. Mine came with a hollow 1 piece steel cap. I notice that the braces from the air tubes to the tank only go up the air tubes about 1/2 inch. Mine run up the side of the air tube and across to the center tube. Nice lantern Bill thanks for posting photos. Harry W
