Highway/Street Kerosene Traffic Lanterns: Re: Odd Toledo Torch

The only modification to these torches that were made was the hood burner so the wind would not blow them out. This dent that has put the depression on this torch was probably done by someone who hit this with a car or by picking it up and throwing it down on it's top. The original dies they used to stamp out these torches did not have this design on the top. There were 28 steps to produce this torch. Thank you.
