I have a General Electric wiring catalog from 1947. In the tools section they list an Oshkosh folding barricade for construction sites. The description says, "Each handle is hollow and forms a flag socket. Lantern locks are fastened to each handle." The illustration is too small to see what the handle looks like. It makes sense that there would be a means to lock the lantern to the barricade to deter theft. Does anyone know how they worked?
