Yes you will sometimes get water in kerosene from the pump. I got a funnel with a filter in it and it does work at stopping water. They say dyed RED kero will clog the wick I havent had a problem yet. I do have to trim the wicks often to keep the carbon off,I dont know if the dye has something to do with that or not. I cannot get K1 or clear kerosene where I'm at and my budget wont allow 8 to 10 dollar a bottle Klean-heat so I will trim wicks often to save a buck. The last time I priced Klean-heat there was 120 ozs in there bottles isnt a gallon 128ozs?? LOL Harry W
