One seller has sold about a dozen cobalt Berger globes over the last four months. I have never seen any Berger colored globes in circulation or in catalogs and do not know anyone who has seen one.
I do not know who is making the reproduction globes, but the Berger cobalts look to be made from original molds or new molds made from an old globe, very good quality, but the color is the indicator. The green globe is of poor quality or at least not a close copy of an original globe. Kirkman makes reproduction globes, but most of his are marked WTK and not intended to be a faked copy of an original and most look modern made.
