The most complete and accurate info on the Beacon is at lanternnet. Click on the Kirkman banner at the top of this page and then find Dietz Beacon in the left margin. The illustration shown is the #60 and is identical to that shown in both the 1913 and 1917 Dietz catalogs. Both catalogs say the #60 Beacon Wall Lantern comes with a 5" spun metal reflector. I have the 1912 version which has the 5 conical feet and the double-stack chimney bell. It has a lever on the back that lifts the globe retaining bell and no pull ring on top. The large fill has a one-piece steel female threaded cap. Versions made 1911 and earlier would have a small fill with a one-piece brass male threaded cap. The No.2 globes for these are rare in their own right.
