Hell-o Gary, Thanks for the response to my request. I'm not a diehard collecter of lanterns, but I do like to wook with them. I bought this Hanlan lamp at a yard sale for 5.00 when I saw it I thought it had good possiblities for my hobby. I got it home and took the electrical guts out of it, then researched it on the p.c. From what I found out it was worth about 145.00 new. But I'm a kerosene nut and I'm making a lantern and cooking stove out of it using a kerosene burner and even adapting it so it could be used with charcoal or wood as a stove. This lantern is steel with a bronze or copper finish, really a nice piece. But again, I'm looking at it not as a collecter, but as a utility piece of equipment. and ya, I'm keeping the lens, but I would trade them even up for a set of clear lens. If you've got any ideas where I could get four of them would appricate some info. thanks for the reply....
