Highway/Street Kerosene Traffic Lanterns: Re: Dating Dietz Lanterns?

Thanks for the offer, Bobby! It is one of a pair of Monarchs that I picked for cheap in the NC mountains. One was made in 4-53 and the other was made in 10-53. Both are "S" lanterns. They are identical except for the handles. One is a stylized loop and the other is a simple "U" shape. Both have a little upside down "V" in the top center of handle. With a little clean up and new wicks, both burn very well.
