One more from the Minnesota Streetcar Museum collection taken on Wabasha St in St Paul in 1953. Twin City Rapid Transit seemed to be using hot blast lanterns in this era. I haven't yet found a lantern marked with the company name but I'm looking. They sure didn't go nuts with the protection around construction sites in those days.
