Back in 'the day' the Wisconsin Gas Company used blue globes in their #40 Traffic Gards. The lantern itself was usually painted white.

A friend of mine stole one of the blue globe / white framed TG's and gave it to me. My parents totally freaked out. It was as if my buddy gave me a ton of heroin! There was talk of being an accessory to a crime and the possibility of doing hard time in juvinile hall. The gas company was called and the lantern was returned.

Still wish I had it.
