Do try the electrolysis tank, I've had great success undoing threaded parts with mine. The other method that works best for me is careful application of heat to the threads with a micro torch to quickly expand the metal and loosen the bond between rust and threads then quickly try to unscrew it. Obviously,heat might be out of the question due to the glass.
