Wild finches ....

I was just outside and two of those yellow-colored finches got into a big fight just like those two mockingbirds a couple of weeks ago. What's up this year with bird aggression?

I don't know Might be because it's nesting season.

I mean, they were screaming at each other. It's odd because doesn't hatching and nests happen in the spring?

Some finch species can have up to six clutches in 1 year. Sometimes Bluejays can raise more than one clutch, Usually it's one. Both species are highly territorial. I think right now, the blue jays are still feeding fledged young.
