the hummingbird in the pic up at the top right away this time AND it's color-coordinated with the purple flowers.

Very pretty and reminds me that spring will be here.

I had to enlarge it and find the hummingbird. I'm not sure I saw that when I put that frame around the tiels!

It's that time of year when people are looking forward to the coming spring. I try to put things like this up after Valentine's Day, because I'm pretty sure most people are tired of winter by mid-February

LOL, you have little elf helpers.

You've got that right. Everybody back in Mass. develops a bad case of SAD in February from the short days and weak sunlight. I always wondered if I received any benefit from my birds' FSL but I don't think that's the spectrum that people need.

It probably helped a bit for you. I know we require different light versus birds, but I have to believe it helps us a little bit if we have bird FSL going.

I used to order the 20 watt FSL from Featherbrite.com. I don't know if they sell them any more. It was the spiral kind that screwed into the metal hood that I got in the reptile section of a chain pet store.
