Hurricane the budgie passed away

He had cancer. I found out a month ago, and kept him comfortable and warm. He passed away last night. He was a good little budgie boy.

I’m so sorry. We’ve lost a few to cancer, too, over the years.

I am so sorry for your loss… we all know how hard it is to have to say goodbye.

I'm sorry, seesthru. I didn't know that you were dealing with that the past month. How is Meadow doing?

Meadow seems okay. She and Snowflake are hormonal. Hurricane had to be in a cage next to theirs but not in with them, because they knew he was sick and bullied him. Being next to them, he still felt part of the flock, but they couldn't chase him or try to bother him.

I am so sorry, how old was he and what kind of cancer?

Age unknown. I got him last year, from a lady that was watching them for someone out of the country, and they weren't coming back, so she rehomed them because she had cats. She didn't know ages.

He had Tumors. I didn't have a necropsy so I don't know if it was testicular or other kinds of tumors. Afte rhe passed, I felt his abdomen, and the largest tumpr went from lower abdomen to up under his ribs..
