Crow feathers ...

For some reason I keep finding crow feathers on the ground in my travels. Boy are they huge compared to a cockatiel's.

Have a great weekend. It's supposed to be in the 90s here tomorrow and very humid with a high heat index.

I've never found one. I bet they are pretty.

Today, I heard a bobwhite quail for the first time in nearly 40 years! There was one near the apartment in an overgrown lot. So awesome!

It was in teh 90's today, but we got an afternoon thunderstorm nothing bad. It rained really good, and we need that! We've been very dry.

Birds lately. There is a pair of mourning doves that I've been seeing at work. Why do they walk vs fly LOL?

I think it's because their food is on the ground. Not sure. I have mourning doves around here, too.
