plant safety

Is the chinese money plant/pilea peperomioides safe for birds/cockatiels? I tried googling but am not getting an answer. Thanks!

Yeah, I couldn't find an answer as to weather it is safe for cockatiels. I did have plants safe for my birds but not for my cats so I need a definative answer. Just odd that I cannot find out online

I read a couple of sites that say that though it's not toxic, it can cause irritation to the digestive system if ingested. I read other sites that say it's safe . I don't think I'd risk it if they chew a lot.
