Remembering those ...

who served and sacrificed for our country this Memorial Day. Have a good weekend.

I was outside and saw what looked like a mating ritual between 2 birds but the bird doing wing fluttering looked like a female cardinal while the brilliant red male just faced her on a branch. First time that I've witnessed that.

It was most likely a male and a young cardinal. The babies all look like females. The baby was begging Papa for some food.

I've seen Cardinals raise their young every spring/summer. Beautiful birds.
