Ian turned around and headed back to us to join up with a front that came through. High winds and tidal flooding so there was no work yesterday. Just wanted to say a quick high and I'm so glad that it wasn't the worst case scenario for some and I am so sorry for the hardships being endured by those who had to go through the living h**l of Ian's full fury. I hope, like seesthru, that relief organizations will come in to start assisting those in need. As we know from all of the years on the board both Juanita and seesthru have gone through some major hurricanes. Thankfully my sister/BIL and niece and her husband came through okay. They live in Port Richey, FL.

I am glad you didn't get too much bad stuff from the remnants and front.
Yep, been through too many of those hurricanes and storms. Juanita too, and I'd be willing to bet MaryBird has, too.
It's like a horrible lottery, never knowing if you're gonna get a bad one this year, or next year, or both.
I see some relief orgs are down there, but are they getting to everyone? It's so flooded so torn up... And the area of damage is so vast. Right now, Central Florida is about to get more flooding from the rivers rising and all. Terrible.
So many dead, so many injured, so many with nothing left.
