If I were much younger, I'd adopt some birdies who need homes. But at 63, I'm slowing down a lot, and want to focus on the ones I have now. If I am birdless and know I'm too old to adopt any more, I would certainly see if there is a rescue to donate to, or other ways to help the birdie world.
