Seesthru I"m so sorry. It must be like losing a part of yourself since you knew him before he even hatched. When they suddenly go into crisis like that there's just no time to intervene. That happened with my adopted-from-the-SPCA tiel Lulu. I rushed her to vet as the available bird vet (not an in-depth avian one) was close by but Lulu passed in the waiting room. 😢 That's 3 we've lost on the board recently, 3 too many.
