It took me a minute to remember where I'd heard that sound before and why it sounded familiar. But nothing beats the time that she walked around the coffee table with 2 pieces of cracker that had peanut butter on them stuck to both of her feet. I couldn't figure out what the "tap, tap" sound I kept hearing was and when I went over to check, there she was with her peanut butter cracker snow shoes. I laughed so hard, especially because because she was totally oblivious to it all. I had put peanut butter on a couple of pieces of cracker to see if I could get her to eat them in case she ever had heavy metal poisoning. Peanut butter absorbs all the metal toxins in birds. She wasn't interested so I just left the pieces on the table. Somehow she managed to step (oh God, I'm sitting here belly laughing as I'm typing this) squarely onto both pieces in her travels.
