Bailey is not even close to a snuggly boy and is wary even of me, even after all of the years (22) that we have been together.
When Snickers was with us, Bailey would do whatever Snickers did and, luckily, Snickers WAS easily handled.
They came out for longer periods at varying times of the day and it was no problem to get them back into their cages because whatever Snickers did, Bailey mirrored.
Now, the only thing that works is to keep a strictly kept routine so that Bailey will know when to go home by himself. Unfortunately, right now that means Bailey gets less out-of-cage time (in part due to my own schedule).
That is just one example of how our flock has been impacted by the loss of Snickers.
That dynamic between the boys kept things running smoothly for 19 years and we have really had to pivot: One of MANY reasons I miss Snickers, still.
