This is because I've just realised that although my continuity point re the dialogue connecting the two 'Bears' episodes makes good sense,
where I've gone wrong is:
That to move an episode into Series Two so as to be thematically consistent with that series;
it would have to be 'Badgers & Bears' which would need to be moved.
Whereas 'Bears In The Wood' was the episode which was moved.
ie 'Badgers & Bears' is the episode which in the clip is referred to as containing a story about bears;
but it wasn't that one which later joined the story-based Series Two:
'Bears In The Wood' joined Series Two; & in the clip from that it seems they found an actual teddy-bear ( rather than hearing/seeing one in a story );
so more in the mode of the 'real world' remit of Series One.
So, whatever the reason was for later putting 'Bears In The Wood';
it can't be for the reason I was theorising about.
I think I must have got confused by all the bears involved!
Thanks for reading it all!
