it was excellent as I recall.
Although vaguely similar to T'S L, it was more gritty, downbeat & "real" (some not over-judgemental drug-taking scenes & the like probably ).
There's a reasoinable amount of info about it at imdb ( google imdb if you don't know the site ).
Read the messageboard for it at imdb - copys are probably available.
It was on Southern TV in Oct - Nov 1981, probably on after 10.30 pm - about 11.30 I may vaguely recall. Only 6 episodes apparently.
It was written by Phil Redmond ( Grange hill/Brookside etc )

I was 18 at the time & it seemed a lot more real & relevant than other portrayals of what its like to be about that age then.
